    Hi Van,

Thanks for the warm welcome.I had read your posts and came to know about your daughter thru them.
Yes its difficult but there’s no choice.
I haven’t tried UVB light adn i don’t think i can manage that quite regularly because of my irregular office timings.
I am thinking of going in for Green Tea and Milk Thistle treatment.
I read couple of posts by Nessaria on that in natural Therapies Discussion forum.
Did u try that for your daughter?
I have tried TACROZ but it didn’t really help.

    Do keep posting!

    Hi Rashmi,

Thot of writing to u but then reading that u recently got married thot better give u some time.
    Well Congratulations on getting married!
I am taking Hydrocotyle Asiat since more than a year now.
I was also thinking of continuing it again.
I recently started taking Vitamin B tablets with Folic acid but i am not able to take it consistently because of the heat it generates.

Let me know how r things going at your end.

    Bye for now!
    Rashmi.

    Hi ,

Thanks Audrey for clarifying my doubts.
I will go in for Vitamins and let u know the results.
But Folic acid how shd i take that and in what dose?
Please let me know if this is the best way to prevent Vit from spreading or do i need to try something else too.

Thanks Mujeeb for the info on UVB.
Skin Grafting is usually very costly. I had a very small part grafted and it was done in AFMC,Pune.
It didn’t cost me anything since i had a friend who was studying there. So im not sure abt the costs in private clinics.
I had the bandage for around 15 days i guess but the skin was rejected on that area.

    Hi Vineet/Mujeeb,

    Thanks for your replies.
Hydrocotyle Asiat is a homeopathic medicine. Its in liquid form and is generally imported from Germany.
I take 10 drops of it it three times a day.
It has not helped Vit to reduce considerably but i think it has helped to heal new spots on face and neck area.
I have tried Melanocyte grafting on my hands but it didn’t work and some other allopathic treatments too.
But with allopathic treatments doctors mostly prescribe steroids. What happens is these steroids does help to stop the spread and
sometimes it heals very fast too but have so many side effects that ultimately i had to stop them and then it starts spreading again.
I am thinking of going for Vitamins but just wanted to clarify something. There are two types as far as i heard from one of my friends. One is fat soluble other is water soluble and if fat soluble is in excess then its harmful for the body.
So do u just go in for VitaminB12 of any kind or there is some particular manufacturer?

I also read some posts on the advantages of green tea, milk thistle etc.
I surfed about Milk Thistle and found that it is available in tablet and liquid form but the dose should be regulated.
Also could u clarify more on Nb UVb treatment?
I am working in Pune and saw a post abt Dr Sanjeev Mulekar in this site.
If anyone has received any treatment from him please let me know is it worth trying?
    Thanks,
    Rashmi.
