Do u take a restrictive diet as well ?
[/QUOTED]The only two things I stay away from is Citrus fruits due to the acidity and some sodas because the carbination agrivates my stomach. Other than that I pretty much eat and drink everything.
Hope this helps,
Suki
P.S. The homeopath told me not drink any coffee. He said that coffee impacts the effectivness of his medicine.

I live in the North-east of England… where have you been in England? London? Ive never been to the US but id love to…after i finish uni, i would love to come and work over there..
[/QUOTED]My usual trip to England starts in Slough (In-Laws there), then up to Bedford, then to Coventry, Nottingham, and end up in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I love England and the English people.

Where have you got vit? Are you still doing NB-UVB? I am doing NB-UVB twice a week, it worked well to begin with (i only have vit on my face and neck) but now it is only working slightly and very slowly.
[/QUOTED]I have vitiligo on vertually every joint of my body as well as around my mouth. I am taking vitamins and have my own NB-UVB unit. I do three UV treatments a week. My vitiligo has improved at least 60-70%. The majority of the improvement happened in the first year. It is still improving but at a very slow pace. My face has shown the most improvement, I only have a little on the corners of the lips, the spots on the forehead, eyes, neck, nose have completely filled in. The hands and feet are the most subborn but they are now slowly improving. Last year I took a 3 month break from the UVB treatments and some my spots came back. It appears that you need to continue with the UVB to keep the repigmentation.
I think you should stay with the NB-UVB. In my experiance the face and neck are the easiest to repigment. Give it 6 months to a year and you should see significant improvement. I take Vitamin B Complex, B-12, Folic Acid, Vitamin C and they seem to help.
I wish you the best of luck in your studies and hope you can come to the US.

Hi Van,
[QUOTED]
Wjhat is the specific test which determines this kind of problem ? Endoscopy, ultrasound.??
[/QUOTED]I had three tests done. The first was a video camera down my throat to the stomach. Second was a drinking a liter of Boron (milkey substance) solution with exrays every 20 minutes to track its passage through my system. Third was drinking a radio active solution then walking on a treadmill every 10 minutes and then tracking the solution with a radiograph (similiar to Xray). The last two tests determined that my stomach muscles were not working very well at pushing the food thru the system. In my system, gravity is the only thing that moves the food through my system. When food stays in the stomach too long the body thinks the food hasn’t been digested yet and keeps secreting more acid which results in feeling bloated and causing gasteric acid reflux. I am currently taking Nexium which prevents excess acid.
I am sorry I can’t give you specific test names but it has been many years since the tests were done. Hope this helps.
Best of luck,
Suki
P.S. The wedding was fantastic and great fun. It was great seeing everyone and also great to see so many changes for the better in India.
Hi Neesha,

That sounds interesting, could you give us more information on the medication you got from your homeopathic doctor please?
[/QUOTED]As you may know, the homeopathic medicine is mixed by the doctor. There is no lable per-say on the bottle. The doctor takes some very small sugar pills and adds the appropriate medicine into it. You take about 5 pills once a day. I have been taking it for about 2 weeks and it seems to be helping me. He gave me enough medication to last me for 6 months. I know this isn’t much information but that is all I know. My father went to him last year for control of high blood pressure and he got cured in 6 months. He seemed honest and reputable.
Best of luck,
Suki
PS I have been to England many times, which part of England are you located in?
Hi Van,
I too suffer from digestive problems since I was a child. For the last 10 years the problem has been severe. I have had many tests done and my gastronologist has determined that my stomach muscles don’t push the food through my system fast enough. He said a normal functioning stomach will push food through the stomach and into the intestine in about 30 minutes. Mine takes about 4 hours. I suffer from bloating, feeling full all the time, etc. I am on medication which helps but my system is not functioning properly. On my recent trip to India I went to see a homopathic doctor. He gave me some medicine which he said will solve my digestion problems and that in turn he says will help my vitiligo as well. I will keep you updated as to my progress.
Wish you and your daughter the best,
Suki
