                    Hi Roja,

                    My insurance does pay for the UVB-NB treatments. I do have to pay a $5 co-pay. I did try protopic in August of 2001. I only tried it for one month and did not get any improvement. I think with any vitiligo treatment you need to take it for at least 3 to 6 months. When I started P-Cat and UVB-NB, I did not see any improvement for the first 3 months. I am thinking of adding Protopic to my treatment regimen.

                      Hi Everyone,

                      I was born in Rajasthan, India but grew up in the US. I live in California now. I got vitiligo right after I moved to the US in 1970. I have tried a lot of conventional and some very unconventional treatments in the US and India. UVB Narrow Band is the only one that is working for me. I get two treatments per week. I have repigmented about 75%. I am extremely happy in this treatment, it has done wonders for my self esteem.
