Your doctor seems to know very little, go to a proper dermatologist.

To confirm vitiligo, they will do a skin biopsy. White, depigmented skin doesnt always mean vitiligo.

If it is, come back to us & members here can explain step 2 which is DONT WORRY.

I agree with Ram

Go to dermatologist who has woods lamp. Every white spot is not vitiligo. So don’t worry…

Hi Aparna ! Take her to a good dermetologist who has woods lamp. usually vitiligo will show up in woods lamp.
I hope it is not vitiligo. Good luck
