I’m sorry, but I’m going to stick with the medical perspective and from my personal experience, don’t believe this. You can use it for mental support but nothing more. It’s not going to “cure” vitiligo.

saraswathi: I suggest you go consult a dermatoligist for this matter, a skin fade may indicate vitiligo, but you should wait and see, I wouldn’t put a baby on treatment anyways
Actually, there is quite a stigma in India. Here in the US, it is against labor laws. But you know how effective the government is in India. They should protect you with labor laws. I would walk into a local office, or labor department and ask what your rights and protections are.
