            hey gina
            is there any Vit research going on in England? With a sizeable S. Asian community in England, I would think there is a good amount of interest.

            I donated some tissue samples yesterday for Dr LePoole’s research (see my post on the main message board for more). With some luck and a lot of hard work, I hope we will have a biological drug for Vitiligo within the next 5-10 years.

                        I doubt pollution has much to do with Vit. I lived in Bangalore for 17 years, moved to the US and a couple of years later I got Vit.

                        As for the “cure”, I cant help you much. I havent heard of any vitiligo treatment that produced good results. The best you cna hope for is 50-60%. And that is using NB UVB or PUVA over several months. Tedious to say the least.

                        You are a research scientist in a drug discovery unit? That sounds interesting. What exactly do you research? Any chance you can influence your company into doing Vit research? IS your company doing any research in biological drugs?
