Well when we have to fast we do it for a whole month and……we can’t eat anything at all from sunrise to sunset for that month. We do it to get a feel of whatz it like for poor people. After that (besides me being relieved the monthz over) we have a huge celebration known as eid! So why do you guyz have to fast in hinduism? Anyhoo good luck with it and I hope cheese is something ya really like eating !

Teddy bearz at clintons huh? Therez a clintons right next to where I work. Gonna have to check it out tomorrow. I want to do somethin different this time. I was thinkin on cookin a special dish or something but…………turns out cooking ain’t all that easy! Especially if you haven’t yet worked out how to turn the oven on ! For me it would be like stick food in the oven, when smoke comes out of oven it’s done !

Well Gina don’t think India’z gonna be winning the last two matches, but who knows ! Yeh I love supporting Pakistan. You never know what’s gonna happen with their matches. Sometimes they’re on fire….at other times they seem like an amateur team. Indiaz got some of the best batsmen in the world but they don’t have as good quality bowlerz though. I love watchin tendulkar and ganguly batting. They’re awesome playerz but the whole Indian team can’t jus rely on them. I haven’t actually been watching the matches, only the highlights. By the way which channels show it live here? Last two matches are in lahore and under floodlights. Its a great stadium. If india wins the next match it will be 2-2 and be an exciting fifth one-dayer. Hopefully the rest of the matches will be close ones as well ! Heard Pakistan wants to tour India sometime soon as well.

A good thing to do before your interviews is to try to prepare really good answers for possible questions that might be asked and also make sure you know everything about the place you’re being interviewed for. Yup thatz rite. Except I was actually born in saudi arabia. I moved to london with my dad who’s a diplomat. Portugal was so kool! I lived in the capital lisboa and the beach was 20 mins from my house. Ideal weather. The people there were the best and made it worthwile. I used to be able to speak good conversational portuguese( thatz the language) but sorta forgot a lot of it. I went to an international american school and so the only way I got to learn the language was with my local friends I lived with. I would definitely recommend it as a perfect holiday destination.

Aha! I knew it! I knew there was something us guyz were better at than you women! Lol! I’m taking lessons with BSM and also paying £20 an hour with two hour lessons. By the way I swapped test dates with my brother today so now I have until July. Word has it ……seeing pigs fly would have been a safer bet than me passing in April. I was learning reverse parking today. Funny how at first it seemed like “reverse crashing!” My instructorz gonna bring a crash helmet from now on for better safety. Lol! Apparently seatbelts aren’t safe enough on their own. I think I’ll delay the idea of becoming a driving instructor until I’m around 70 with some good experience.

Hey everyone! ( Looks like you had quite an adventure here in london Neesha ! )
It was a long night for me yeserday. I stayed up two nights in a row for the coursework deadline today. Anywayz thatz all done. Not for long though as therez more due this month. By the way yesterday I was travelling on the tube and some person with vitiligo came and sat right in front of me. His vit was obvious from his face and his hands were totally depigmented. I didn’t really want to look at him as it could have made him uncomfortable or summin. He was off next stop before I had a chance to think what to say. What could you say to a total stranger though? I’m sure all vitties would love to have a conversation with another but still…I dunno.

Yeh u can’t really enjoy music til it’s on high turbo max power volume ! My mom would go speeding past a red light if she saw my hi-fi in the middle of the road just to run it over ! lol!

I’m still taking driving lessons. I hear a lotta people have to take so many tests before they pass and even “third time lucky” doesn’t mean anything. I got my test booked end of April. Probably won’t pass cuz I find the maneouvres really hard plus I only just started learning reversing. I’ve had many near crashes during my lessons believe it or not but hey at least I keep my instructor awake all the time. He blames me for the tablets he needs to take for his blood pressure! lol !

I know. Say you’ve had it for just over a year? The best way to gain confidence is to do the thingz you’re afraid to do. It just takes time to get used to it. It’s great that you’re confident with your vit Gina.
So do you cover up your vit before you go outside?
I am not at all comfortable with my vit. Hell I don’t even go out in a half sleeve and still have to put camouflage cream on my face. The sad thing though is that swimming (which I used to do everyday for the 8 yearz I grew up in portugal before my vitiligo) now I don’t even think about doing just like wearing a t-shirt or shortz outside my house because I don’t know what other people or even my friendz will say about my vit. The good thing though is that I’m learning to take a few small steps at a time knowing and hope you all will remember as well…….that though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start now and make a brand new ending. Your life may be long or short but its completeness will depend on what it was lived for.

Yeh one of the great thingz the nightlife. You can really go out and enjoy yourself. Therez a lot of clubs and other places I go to with my friendz. And there are some of the best italian and asian restaurants around……Although East London where I live isn’t really busy, the central london area like leicester square is packed all day and all nite long. Ever planning on comin down here? So Gina and Hardeep what about you guyz? Where do you usually go out here in london ?
I tried a coupla treatmentz for my vit a long time ago, but they didn’t really work so I’ve just forgotten about the whole concept of treatments. Too much effort going to waste and you could also end up really disappointed.

Guess what? Todayz Friday. Know what that means………Parrrrtttyyy! lol! especially after I finally finished one of the so many courseworks due this month. Great feeling…..even greater when you hand it in seconds before they close the coursework lobby postbox for the day.
By the way Gina at uni u have to hand in coursework on a given day no later than a given time, because don’t know about your uni neesha but here in westminster you can’t even hand in the coursework a minute late as they close off the postbox and then you gotta put it in the other one which is collected the next day and they cap it to 40 % (happened to me last semester). What about the harrow campus hardeep?

Well maybe in a coupla yearz neesha after you graduate I’m sure you could defend me in any case I have. How hard cud it be? I’ve had vitiligo since I was 11 or so and have it from the knee downwards,elbows and bits on hands and face. At times it’s been hard to cope with but as soon as u realise that itz a part of u the easier it becomes. By the way my dad also has it or …used to anyways……as he is now totally depigmented naturally and looks rather cool I think. By the way do any of you guys have any1 in the family with vit?
