Hey Gina and Neesha!!
Man, seems like we’re all too busy these days to talk as often as we used to… Hope you’re both doing well! I just thought I’d swing by to see what’s going on on this site and our little Indian section Ok, well I’ve got a thousand and three things I gotta get done so I better get going… Take care!!

Yep I’ve checked out Whole Foods, but they are SO expensive!! Plus, the closest location to me is about 30 mins away, so it’s hard to get to regularly… Luckily my local albertsons has a tiny little section of gluten free food, and i get rice pasta and pizza crust mix here, but still the cost of this food is ridiculous compared to normal food. And waaayyy more fattening than normal food too, not sure why but it is… Raleys has a decent selection of gluten free food too, i get tapioca bread from there, but it’s just crazy how much this stuff costs!! What’s getting to me most is that I don’t have much choice for food, especially when i’m not in the mood to cook… Usually I make Indian food almost every day, but sometimes you just want something different, or to buy outside food, and i just don’t have many options left… I’m complaining a lot, I know, but it’s really starting to get me down…
Vishal! tell me you haven’t been to SF yet? I haven’t been to this site in such a long time, i didn’t see your post until now! I actually live about an hour away from San Francisco but will try to make it there if you haven’t already been over… So what brings you to California?
Gina, Neesha, Hardeep… how are you all doing? what’s keeping you busy these days? I’ve been job hunting like mad since i graduated in january, and seriously want to go back to England! Haven’t really been back since 2000! my day and half over there on my trip to/from India just didn’t cut it for me… Wish i coulda come over after graduation, but money just isn’t on my side for that Maybe after working for a while, and getting those pesky few vacation days saved up, i can come over. I miss my cadburys oh and my family! lol yeah… nieces and nephews over there getting so big and i haven’t seen them… ok, so i’ll stop now cuz it makes me want to go back so much more, and i just can’t yet… maybe when i DO make it, we can hang out? well, i guess we’ll cross that bridge when we get there…
Ok, so until the next time i’m back here (which should be soon!) you guys take care,
-Baldeesh
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Wishing you the best always

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Neesha beat me to it! Hope you have a great one and Neesha, good luck w/ ur exams
Hey all… I guess we’re all so busy these days… I know it’s final exam time for me, my first one is tomorrow, yikes! then that’s it!! I’m finally done with uni! 😀 So these days I’m looking for a full time job, but that’s a whole different story… For now, hope everyone is doing ok, and post more often!!!
take care,
-BaldeeshHi Sanju,
From what I understand, it’s the chemical phenol that you have to look out for. Phenol is what makes the color stay, so I’m sure it’s in the Revlon ingredients, regardless of price. I use semi-permanent hair color, level 1, that washes out in 8-10 shampoos, because there is no phenol in it. The ingredients should be printed on each box, not necessarily as “phenol” but phenol will be there in the word somewhere… Foil highlights should be ok as the dye doesnt actually touch the scalp. I know this has been discussed many times on the main board too, so maybe you could try doing a search for “hair color” or “hair dye” or even “phenol” to find more information. Also, a lot of people just use mehndi as an alternative to dye, because it’s natural. Hope this helps

Sorry I really dont know anything about other insurance companies b/c I’ve always had Kaiser insurance… The Kaiser clinic I go to is in the East Bay, right by my house, and they have nb-uvb, puva, and another machine there. However Kaiser clinics only treat patients with Kaiser insurance, as far as I understand… Maybe it would be better to call your insurance and ask them if they can recommend a clinic near you, if Santa Clara and San Jose is too far…
Hope this helps??

all this talk is making me VERY hungry…
-Baldeesh
Hey, I’m thinking about you guys too, hope you are all ok…
-Baldeesh
Hey Madhukar,
I go to Kaiser for my nb-uvb treatments… I don’t know of any other clinics or private practices because I’ve always dealt with Kaiser…
