I hope you receive a response from the members here. ALthough from what i recollect i doubt if anyone who is a member on this site has ever tried this.

There are scores and scores of vit patients in India but a very miniscule number would bother to discuss anything on these support sites. So im sure there are a lot of ppl who would have tried this.

What i would suggest is that you request the doctpr at the laser centre to give you refrences of atleast 2/3 patitents who have been treated by him. They usually wont have a problem in doing so.

I do agree that once you get the pigment you need to try and maintain it, that is the hardest part. But i would sugesst that atleast tru to get it back in the first place!!!!
After that you can check the natural therapies posting and do the stuff most are doing to control their vit.

Hi,

Looks like you haven’t done much about your Vit. Protopic would have worked wonders on your face and you for sure could have got it all cleared in 4 months time, Better start now as you lucky to be in a place like kuwait which has a lot of sunlight.

Secondly you can also purchase a handheld/ bigger NB UVB for a low price in India. GO ahead and purchase it so that you can start treating yourself as soon as you go back to Kuwait. The coordiantes for purchase are in one of the postings here by “winvitiligo”.

Thirdly, People here in India will for sure be sympathetic towards you, that’s about it. Dont worry you wont get any embarassing questions or stares. People are more knowledagable here about this problem that any where else!!!.

Inspite of all this if someone says anything funny just tell them to take a walk!!!!!!
