    Hey all!
    [QUOTED]
By the way which channels show it live here?
    [/QUOTED]
It was on Sky Sports 2 this morning… but i only watched bits of it, was trying to figure it out really, dont really get it! lol!
    [QUOTED]
so which football team do u support?
    [/QUOTED]
I support Newcastle United, they’re kool! Definitely dont support Man U!! Arsenal are ok…. i love Thierry Henry!! ;)
    [QUOTED]
Ask your brother if he saw wretlemania xx over the weekend.
    [/QUOTED]
Yeh he said he taped it, it was on Sky Sports 1 or something… some big event, i dunno! The only thing i like about wrestling is the Rock!! I asked my bro if he was at the Newcastle Arena when he went but he said no ;(
    [QUOTED]
So how does the pager thing work anywayz?
    [/QUOTED]
I was using the pager thing with Gina earlier, but its a bit crap, really slow! Gina had to send me about 10 messages before i actually was able to read 1! …. Just click on Vitiligo Instant Pager on the left side of the screen, you’ll work it!…eventually, how i did! If only i had msn Gina! I might download, but i know if i will, ill be on it all the time!

    Hey Suki!
    [QUOTED]
end up in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
    [/QUOTED]
You’ve been to Newcastle?! What did you think of us geordies?!! lol :)
    [QUOTED]
I do three UV treatments a week. My vitiligo has improved at least 60-70%.
    [/QUOTED]
Because i have my treatments at the hospital my derm will only let me have 2 UV treatments a week… Also because i use a full body unit, i only expose my face and neck and since some of the vit is on the side of my neck, its difficult for the light to get there and ive been told to bend my head to once side during the treatments… ive been thinking about excimer laser, that way the light will go directly to your vit areas. Im really happy for you that your vit has improved a lot!
    [QUOTED]
Last year I took a 3 month break from the UVB treatments and some my spots came back.
    [/QUOTED]
I did the UVB treatments for 6 months, then the derm wouldnt let me continue without having a 6 month break. During this time, none of my spots came back! Im now doing the treatments again, for another 6 months (but im nearly into my 5th month now) and it doesnt seem to be working too well….
    [QUOTED]
In my experiance the face and neck are the easiest to repigment.
    [/QUOTED]
Thats what a lot of people think but unfortunately not for me …. :( Hey i always say this but i wouldnt know what id do without my makeup!

    Take care, Neesha

Im not really enjoying uni at the moment cos’ of all the work, but hey i bet ill miss it when i leave!

I dont have msn. It would be a good idea to go on that chat thing but like Gina said, i dont really have a time when i come on here…Its really hard getting on the net cos’ the loads of people who i live with are always on! Also, times when i have been on that chat thing, my computer always seems to crash… Has anyone ever used the instant pager? Cos’ last night when i was on this site i looked on the ‘who’s online’ thing and saw that kamz and Hardeep were online. I could have sent a message to you’s but you didnt have your pagers on…

Hardeep, Kamran’s giving you good advice there on finding an unfit driving instructor! lol!
    [QUOTED]

    Hi Suki,
    [QUOTED]
which part of England are you located in?
    [/QUOTED]
I live in the North-east of England… where have you been in England? London? Ive never been to the US but id love to…after i finish uni, i would love to come and work over there..

Where have you got vit? Are you still doing NB-UVB? I am doing NB-UVB twice a week, it worked well to begin with (i only have vit on my face and neck) but now it is only working slightly and very slowly.

Good luck with the homeopathic medicine!

    Hi Suki,
    [QUOTED]
He gave me some medicine which he said will solve my digestion problems and that in turn he says will help my vitiligo as well.
    [/QUOTED]
That sounds interesting, could you give us more information on the medication you got from your homeopathic doctor please?

    Thanks, Neesha

You pay £20 per lesson?!! Thats a lot, are they hour lessons? When i had mine, they only cost around £13 each but they must cost more now. ….
    [QUOTED]
Im going to take lessons from a guy now.
    [/QUOTED]
Yeh yeh we all now why she wants to take lessons from a guy!! lol!! …. I had lessons from a guy, he was cool, we had loadsa fun, he just kept telling me that as long as i stuck to the speed limit for my test id be fine and then i could do what id like when i passed! lol! Waz happenin Gina & Kamran?! Hows tings?

Gina, hows the protopic going? You using it with any light? Im happy for you …not having much vit left on your eyelids. I always think, if i had to get vitiligo, why only on my face, why couldnt it have been somewhere else…..

Yeh Kamran I did have quite an adventure in London.. but it was fun, would be cool living there. Not sure if id get the hang of using the tube though! Hated my experiences with the tube! Hey Gina i went to Daminis when i was in London. It had loadsa nice stuff…wish we had it here!! When i was in Newham, I had to work in some schools and I was soo surprised to see sooo many asian kids in one class! So Kamz, your at Westminister Uni, right? Ive got a mate of a mate (lol) whos going to uni in Sept in London, somewhere called Kings…? (not sure?)?..

Your right Gina saying that its better that your parents know what you get up to. Thats the same with me, ive always told them everything (ok….well maybe not every single thing! lol!), so my parents are cool. But.. cos’ i live with my granmother, Kamran, she can be really old fashioned sometimes lol., which makes it difficult for me sometimes. But yeh she does cook really nice food! lol! Shes in India at the moment, visiting family, so im missing the food! lol. I love living in a big family, i would feel lonely without my family, guess im just used to having lots of people around me. So Kamran, you said you grew up in Portugal. Were you born there, why did you move to London? How was it in Portugal, can you speak whatever language they speak there?! lol! Gina, have you always lived in London? So anyaway…..im guessing your Pakistani Kamran? And Gina your Sikh? Im Hindu.

Music!! I love!!!! Your both right about that, you gotta have it loud! Im into rnb, hip hop, rap, bhangra, some garage..

Good luck with your driving test Kamran. Tell me about ‘third time lucky’ not being true! I passed on my fourth time! (everyone used that to take the pis outta me!) The amount of money i spent on driving lessons and tests! lol! (or should i say my parents’ money!).

The course im doing, Kamran, is a full 3 year course. Then i gotta do a practical 1 year course at another uni, and after that find a training contract with a firm, which is really hard. So Gina, hows your law work going? What area of law? Ill give you a hand, if you need any help, but i dont really now much! lol. Damn, i just got another assignment to do today, it never ends……. Im glad i can say ive got friends in London now, Kamran and Gina! Aww! :)

So anyway, lets talk about the ‘shitiligo’ now… You know, ive only ever talked to 1 other person with vit before, who i met at the hospital. She actually uses this site too! Once i was on the bus, there was this guy, he had vit on his hands. I felt like saying something but i just couldnt. Kamran, i think your right when you say that all vitties would love to have a conversation with another. And your right Gina, when you say that we should be lucky not to have anything worse. You know we gotta be strong and confident about our vit (something im not able to do yet, always easier said than dome), and yeh Kamz theres no running away from the vit, but i just wish it would run away from us!

I better be off now, im just glad that i found this site and made some good friends! ……. In a bit….
