October 5, 2004 at 4:59 am in reply to: Want to know about Derm who can help me with depigmentation, location: Mumbai, India #109275Hi Tannu,
I am also from Bombay. Good to see one more mumbai member.
Sorry to read your story. I have had vit for almost past 20 years……..but I was somehow fortunate that I did not have to go thru much teasing.
Whatever teasing/comments/stares I got, I just ignored them.
NAyway my family and my cliose friends understand……….and they are the only people who matter, right !I am sorry to say your fears bout getting married are right. Given the social unacceptance of this disease also, getting married is a big problem and I am facing it right now. But I must also say that it is not always like that. So, I think on that front you should not worry. Life takes its own turns.
It is very brave of you to consider depigmenting. I really appreciate you for that. See, you must be a really courageous person and that makes you a nice person.
take care and keep writing
Hi Vishal,

Victor, I am sorry to hear that your vit is spreading.

Water is a powerful healer. It is required for the digestion of many food materials, helps in protecting the skin from drying, solubilises many waste products in the body helping their elimination. Moreover, it cleanses the Urinary tract off infectious microorganisms.
[/QUOTED]Very well said bejoy.
Nothing like water to make you feel fresh.I would also like to add….drink 4-6 glasses of water just after getting up in the morning
This will clean up our system nicely.I am an ardent follower of water plentifulness, and very rarely do I drink cold water……even in this summer heat
