Just to add my bit of advice from experience.
if u have only a few spots and they are not very old……your chances of getting 100% cured are really good.Patches which grow older take longer and longer time to cure, so dont let your vit grow old.
I just want to say, sinceits the beginning, do all that you can to control the condition NOW.
Find the best doctor, homeopath or ayurvedic or unani and stick to the medicine and instructions religiously.Read, research and know all that you can about Vit………….this site will be really helpful to you in this.
This will give you a sense of knowledge and hence control over the condition.
You will be able to find teh right doctor, and also follow doctor’s advice better then. You can also consider alternative cures alongwith the doc’s medcine.
Like changing some of your dietary habits, supplements, exercising, naturopathy etc.
I am sure some people on this site will be able to help you with that.Stick with your treatment, and keep your hopes……………you’ll be just fine.
Bye
I am taking treatment from a homeopath doctor. I will not say I have been cured, but I have got some pigmentation with his medicine.
Not a lot of pigmentation, but this is the most I have got in a lot of years, after trying with several doctors. The doctor is in Agra.
Do tell me if u will be able to travel to Agra, and I will email his address to you.Bye
Hello kcsekar,
A few days back, I stepped into a NatureCure hospital, and met the doctor there.
I told the naturopathy doctor about my leucoderma, and he immediately replied……..”Leucoderma is incurable”
I asked him if there is anything he could do to help this condition, or to contro it,
but he said that there is no cure and I shoulod just expose leucoderma spots to sunlight.I got quiet upset and just stepped out of the place.
Later I realized I could have asked him if he could help me making myself overall healthier thru correct diet, some other procedures etc,
but at that time I justfelt upset and didnt pursue this line.Sekar, can you pls advice us as to what specifically to ask a naturopath for, and what to aim for.
Is the aim to treat vitiligo directly or is it to make you body healthier, closer to nature so that it treats itself.
What should seek from naturopathy.I am sure a lot of people on this board will be able to benefit from your experiences and advice.
Thanks

Hi Victor,
Yes you are right, I work in SEEPZ. But how do I send yu n email?
when I click on the email link beside yuor name, it asks me for an email id…
so what id should i send you an email?I had learnt some yogasanas, pranayam and some kriyas a few years back
bigger problem lies in finding time to actually practice themHi Sekar,
I also stay in Mumabi and I am very much interested in following the natural approach to treating vitiligo.
But the problems are:
– finding a naturopath or people around you with such knowledge
– and my hectic lifestyle…….my office schedule leaves me with almost no time for doing anthing elseBut you post here has been inspiring and prods me into looking into my priorities in life again.
Maybe I should cut down on work and spend some time on my health/relaxation also
and try some natural ways for my condition.Victor,
Have been able to find a good naturopath in Mumbai?
I stay in Bhayander and work in Andheri.
where do you stay?Answers to your Qs…

How long does it take to see the initial result with homeopathy ?
[/QUOTED]
I was able to see some results after 3-4 from the start of the medicine[QUOTED]
Are you taking any diet, or is it diet free medicine ?
[/QUOTED]
My doctor has advised me to avoid VitaminC rch foods.
Then, there are restrictions with homeo medicines(which are not disease specifc) which include foods having strong ‘smell’ like mint, onion(raw) etc Also, wearing perfumes etc should be avoided, especially around the time when the medicine is taken[QUOTED]
Are you taking homeopathy med with combination of any other med ?
[/QUOTED]
No, I am taking homeo only[QUOTED]
Are you exposing vit effected skin to early morning sun ?
[/QUOTED]
I have started that about 3-4 months back, but I am not very regulartake care
