I read about UVB being used in “BYL Nair Charitable Hospital” in Mumbai, India.
    Their website is http://www.nair.edu/hospital/index.html

I am myself planning to visit them for the UVB. Will let you know more details if I visit them before you do.

I was just wondering, if it is ok for the ladies to have facials – because I plan to have one, and my mum thought it might not be safe for people with vitiigo to have them, because it may make the sking go white.

So do any of you recommend facials or not?

I have leucoderma spots on my forehead, and have had them on my face also in the past. I have got facials done a number of times, and it does not turn the whole skin white. I have had no problems at all with facials. U can ask your beautician not to use creams/packs which have depigmenting stuff in them.

    Use your judgement.

    Good luck!!

i know quite a few ppl who have undergone surgery and after few years they have got vitiligio again on the area where they have undergone surgery.
    [/QUOTED]

ya, even i have heard of relapse of white spots in the area where surgery is done.
that is why i want to continue my homeopathy as well, and probably get the grafting done on few very visible spots only.

can u give me contacts of some people who have undergone skin grafting for vitiligo?

    thanks
