but this is a reality……………some people are so ignorant, their minds so closed that they cant see, dont want to see the real picture at all
it saddens me so much that people should not use their god gifted brains a little more and be a little more rational
how myths, prejudices havoc lives
i understand what you and your partner must be going through………..
be strong juhi, and you will find lots of support here as well
stand strong and support your partner as well
imagine it would be even worse for him………..being torn between two people he loves
give the old lady sometime…………let the initial shock and the immdiate reaction cool down
meanwhile, since your partner is a doctor, he must be having some dermatologist friends, whom he can make her mom spaek to
tell her that one doctor is not the only word on it………..make her speak to other doctors who are not as prejudiced
you and your partner have to be just strong and be firm
his parents should eventually just realize that they are not going to get their way and they will relent
if they dont, in a reasonable period of time (i would say a few months), just go ahead and get married
they will surely accept later
both of you………….be firm, thats the key to convincing them also !!!!!!!!!!!!
