    Hi Mdhu,

No, no improvement in my spots. But then I should not complain because I am not doing anything about it.
Am taking a medicine, but not very regular with it. Not very strict with my diet also these days.

Older spots are definitely harder to repigment. The oldest spots I have are so stubborn that they dont move/freckle at all, while some newer ones do with some treatment.

    Bey,

I had talked to Dr Sanjeev Mulekar and from what he described to me, he transplants some melanocyte cells (from a healthy skin) onto the vit patches and dress it up with a collagen dressing. The melanocytes are then expected to multiply and cover the vit patches. As he told me there is no scarring at all in this procedure.

When you visit a doctor, you can actually ask him to show you some pictures of some patients, so you can see if here is any scarring or not.

    Best of luck

    Hi Bey,

There is one doctor in Mumbai as well who performs this melanocyte transplant treatment. I have not undergone, but you may contact him. He is actually listed on this site – Dr Sanjeev Mulekar

if you go to doctor search, and search for dotors in India, you will be able to see his link.

    Best of Luck
    Rashmi
