      Hey Jai,

      Sorry for this late reply, wasn’t in town. My friend went to see her and her opinion is that this cover-up treatment is fake. Please take time and do a lot of research before planning on this treatment. Also no doctor seems to have endorsed this treatment.

      Heard Hyd is getting hotter and hotter, hope it isn’t too bad. Well, let me know what happens, Good Luck.

        Hey Jai,

        Thanks a lot for the information, I think I will be coming to Hyderabad to check the treatments out, my mom was telling me that all telugu magazines feature these doctors and have a million people talking about how the treatments helped them a lot.

        You must be taking ayurveda, heard it works efficiently and fast but the food restrictions are too much. Hope it works for you. I am taking homeopathy and protopic.

        Well,thats it …. please let me know if you get any information about these treatments.

          Hi Jai,

          I noticed that you are from Hyderabad. I heard that there is a new treatment there called “Advanced Pigmentation theraphy” by Dr.Radhika Reddy and “Derma Laser” by Dr.R.R.Rao which permanently pigment the spots. Have you heard about them, they carry on these treatments in clinics in Hyderabad. I was planning on coming to Hyd for this treatment,could you please let me know if have heard of them and investigated them at all.

          Hope you did well in your exams….. how is it in Hyd, really hot. Will be quite a shocker from the cold weather here in Chicago.

            Hi everyone,

            Thanks Bhungal, I will talk to my insurance company and see if they will cover my visits to a UV clinic, if they don’t, I am interested in buying the Handisol from you.

            I did research on the treatment too and could get no information. I have some information about a new treatment called “Derma laser” which is being used to permanently cover up vitiligo spots. If anyone is interested, let me know, I can send you the doctor’s contact address. This doctor is in India too. Thinking of going to India to check it out.

                    Hi everyone,

                    Thanks a lot Bhungal for the information. I was thinking of getting a Handisol UVB, might turn out to be too expensive though.

                    There is one more thing I wanted to share with all is a new cover-up treatment called “Advanced Pigmentation treatment” which is supposed to completely cover up all spots permanently, not a treatment but a cosmetic solution. Anyone heard about it or tried it out?

                        Hi all,

                        I am Roja, Indian by origin …. lived in various countries before coming to America … Bhungal what you wrote is interesting, UVB seems to help a lot of people though I heard that it is hard to get insurance coverage for it. What have your experiences been like? Started using protopic recently,any luck with it any of you?
