      Hi Van,

Thanks for the kind words. I was a little busy with my work and literally forgot about being updated on my vit. My little baby girl named Avani also keeps me pretty busy nowadays.

How about your baby girl Swinzle? I saw her pics. She looks like an angel. I wish her all the luck in the world. Are you going for the depig or repig for her?

About my wife, you have a point…I never thought about that…well…I don’t help her with housework…except on weekends…and I have no idea about post delivery blues either…may be it just might work out after some time…I dunno…too confused to think clearly about it.

      take care…

          Hey

Yeah right nothing worse than stress for vit. When i was your age it was the main factor for the spread of my vit..but then i was married at that time and the stress was unavoidable…:(. You are not even married I think….so you can handle everything on your own. Do every possible thing to avoid unnecessary negative stress. You are a pretty girl so go out with your boyfriend and make out :). As Rachna rightly said these phases are bound to pass and are a necessary part of anybody’s life. Don’t let them affect you in a negative way. Read some motivational books and boost up your confidence.

          Good luck

          Sanjay

But every day i will die with these questions that arises at my mind. 1. Will he looks another girl? 2. Will he accepts me if my vit increases 3. Will he changes if he earns more money. So, Many questions………
Thats why i hate this vit rashmi. It created so many problems in my life.

            Hi Saraswati,

I am sure you have some reasons to think like this about your hubby. The only way to find out is to ask him all these questions and see his responses. Being a female you would be able to judge if he is telling the truth or a pack of lies.

Sometimes I also think it would have been better if I had married a vittie. But when I look back I think it was all fate. At the time of marriage I didn’t have any visible white patch. It had all cleared up just before marriage by various treatment i was taking. My marriage was an arranged one and I didn’t think it was necessary to tell my future wife about my vit.

White patches started appearing after some time and my wife was furious with me for not letting her know about my vit before marriage. She, however later accepted it and our life returned to normal. Thank God both my kids are vit free otherwise she would have definitely blamed me for “ruining” their lives. My vit is stabilised now and I do not even think about it any more. Just wish some day there will be a final cure to vit.

Let me give you an example of how normal skinned people would think of a girl with vit. When I was 20 and was studying in the college in Delhi, I had a classmate who had vit on her face, around eyes and few of her hairs were also white. I didn’t know anything about vit at that time and whenever I used to see that girl, I would find her extremely beautiful and charming. Her vit was a non issue considering her personality and charming behaviour. Boys would consider themselves lucky if she would agree for a date. I could have given my front teeth to get married to her. Now I think it was all due to the fact that she never let her confidence down and It reflected on her face.

My advice to you would also be to ignore it if you can’t cure it. Use camouflage on your face if it is on your face and try to feel as normal as possible. I never discuss vitiligo with my wife, family or friends, they don’t bother so why should I ?

            take care

                Hi,

Writing after a looooong gap.. Hi to Van and Jai..hope you guys still remember me. Jai are you getting married to the same girl my wife talked to?

I have two kids…one boy 7 yrs and one girl 7 months..None of them is affected with vit. I developed vit at 24 and got married at 26. My wife doesn’t have vit. None of my parents have vit either. I am not sure if my kids will or will not develop vit in their lifetime.
I guess its not possible at all to tell beforehand if your kids would be affected. Just pray they won’t…

Latest news….my marriage is on the rocks after nine yrs…wouldn’t blame vitiligo though…lack of sex?…umm probably…news is good or bad only future will decide…

                Take care….

Hi, I’m new here. I’m looking for information on where in India I can get camouflage cosmetics for vitiligo, to suit the tropical weather and the (generally) darker tans. Could someone please write in with details of where one can get. I live in Delhi. Many thanks.
