vineetHi Rashmi,
Welcome to the board.Sorry to hear that your vitiligo is increasing and you are not having much success.
The safest option i can recommend you is to avoid stress.
it really works.
apart from that try sunlight or NB UVB.
for topical application use Tacroz forte.
Hands and feet are most difficult to repig and face being easiest..
Can you share what is Hydrocotyle Asiat ?Regards,
VineetDear BP,
You will hundreds of website claming that there is a sureshot and easy cure of vitiligo by their drug.
But if it had been so we would all been cured by now.
The bitter truth most of them are fake and seeking monetary gains.
I had’nt have good results with ayurveda at all , in fact my spots increased in that period.
The babchi oil you were talking in other post is just raw form of psolaren.
And if taken orally affects liver.Still this forum has people in quantity and someone must have tried it.
We can wait for comments.
Post this in main message board also.Regards,
vineetHi Rashmi,
It is really sad that people try to make money in such a way.
I have reported this fraud in main message board also and to derm also.
They have taken firm steps and [ http://www.leuco-care.com/proof-leuco-care.pdf ] has been removed from the site.Vineet

If you do not have a VSI account, you can quickly create one here!Hi Abbas,
I encountered the same doubts earlier.
But this was recommened by my derm.
derm is also not likely to have any links with them as that hospital is govt run.
Actually this company supplies its products to doctors, hospitals etc for medical purposes.
i mean their main motive may not be profit.(jus my thought ,not very sure abt that).
they say that their sole intention is to serve the derms of india. They are commited to serve the medical profession by providing Advanced Technology Products at a very affordable price.
I am getting it next 10-15 days or so.
ur second doubt abt sucess of treatment is also right.
time plays an imp role.it is done abt 2-3 times a week, starting from 1-1/2 mins gradually increasing to 3-4 mins.
there must be a gap of one day in between.
instruction manual is also available on how to use the product.
these things apart NB UVB surely helps in repigmentation.Regards,
VineetHi Saraswathi,
NB UVB is a phototherapy.
the device is just like a lamp.
the rays which are of about 311-312 nm are emitted by it are useful for vit.
it is used for abt few mins per patch.time is increased gradually.
No tablet is required in it.
it has less side effects than other phototherapy processes.
find more info athttp://www.vitiligosupport.org/nbuvb.cfm
Regards,
Vineet[QUOTED]
can i get it for the same price.
[/QUOTED]Yes for sure,Mujeeb.
Contact them.Hi Kratika,
Welcome to the Board..
I also have tried all sorts of things. But none of them gave satisfactory results except Tacrolimus and Sunlight.
Tacrolimus gave me 100 % repigmentation on my face, and now by the grace of almighty its allright on my face.
Regular sun light is also beneficial.
Homeopathy and steroids worsened my vit a few years back but now i am back on track.
At present I am having vit patches at hands, elbows, feet and knees and few near abdomen.
Currently i am using tacroz forte.
I am also going to buy a NB UVB device shortly.
I have a heard a pretty good success rate of NB UVB.
Regards,
VineetP.S. Do try tacroz forte 0.1 % on face for few months twice a day.
Hi mujeeb,
I have decided to go for indian made hand held nb uvb device.
the brand is dermaindia in chennai , which i have already discussed above.
melaginina lotion is good but the cost is too high.
hence i am not buying it for now.
the best deal i am getting from dermaindia is Rs 8000/- all included.Vineet
