Hi mujeeb,
it is strange that your derm told that this is not a good medicine.
my derm has different views on it.Actually all oils are not equal.and this is not a anti vitiligo oil.its a lotion.
This works on principal of human placenta.
just like placentrax lotion,it is based on various research conducted in foreign countries.
It is made in Cuba.
Its also true that every treatment can not suit everyone.
Still you can use option of “Search forums” in the blue bar and type MELAGENINA PLUS.
And it has been discussed various times and lot of people have benefitted from it in few weeks.
And some of them have used it for several years and still no repigmentation.
So, it can’t be called a magic cure and results varies from person to person.Regards,
VineetHi Madhu,
The exact link is http://www.dermaindia.com/
Daavlin is too costly.
I have already cantacted Corium and they told Rs 32000 for a handheld NB UVB.
So of course full body will be very costly.I think we should jointly contact dermaindia and ask for concessional NB UVB devices.
Their devices are much economical.
We may further get some more discount.
I am in touch with Mr. K A RAJA of dermaindia in this regard. My derm also recommended this.
I am intrested in a hand held device.Lets keep in touch in this regard if anyone of us could get a better deal.

VineetHi Madhu,
yes dermaindia is a local manufacurer in chennai, india.
they do have full body phototherapy units.
their costs are very reasonable.what did daavlin unit cost you?
were there any duties, taxes on its import.
i contacted them, and found that a hand held nb uvb device costs Rs 32000 (all inclusive) which is too high.regards
vineetHi,
There are more providers of NVB products like
http://www.homephototherapy.com
http://www.daavlin.com
http://www.dermaindia.comI am in touch with dermaindia.
Their product is very economical as compared to others.
Though much of info is not available on his site, but they do have an economical NB UVB unit.
Their product costs about one fourth of others.
But I still could not make up my mind.Regards,
VineetHi,
I think the treatment in which we have to eat tablets before exposure is PUVA .
and the newer machine you are talking about must be Narrow Band UVB.
It is relatively newer and better treatment.
It has less side effects also as only rays which are helpful for vitiligo i.e. around 312 nm.Vineet

i am from chandigarh.tacrolimus is available in india under brand name of tacroz.
it costs about 260 rs for 10 gm.
and it is worth it.
it shows good results.puva and nvb is phototherapy.
i have no idea if they are available near you.regards
vineeti would call it a sheer wastage of money and time.in fact it increases vit.i have tried it personally.
Homeopathy has been discussed on here many times.
I have never heard of anyone here having success with treatment.
They want you to continue the treatment despite no success and even vit increases in most cases.
You can do a search going back several years to see for yourself, but I personally would not recommend homeopathy.
try treatments like tacrolimus , puva , uv nvb , etc.

it is good that your vit is stable.
i wont recommend uvb treatment near eyes.
just use protopic or (tacroz / crolim(0.1%tacrolimus ointment )) twice a day for few weeks regurarly.
initially you may have a burning sensation , but dont you worry , it will go away after few days.
you may read earlier posts on this topic.
i am sure that ur spot will go away.
i also had spots near eyes.
now by the use of tacroz and a bit of sunlight , its absolutely fine..
this ointment works like magic on the face.
good luck for your treatment.
vineethi,
i am in india.
can I be of any help in this documentry(awareness video)?Vineet
