    Hi Cindy,
As I said in my first post I think she is reacting to her antifungal treatment and getting these patches. Though nobody can say thats the reason of her developing patches. But both times we started treating her fungal infection and within some days she developed patches. And the patches are very small and near her eyes only where the skin is very sensative. Plus she is a compititive swimmer and has to practice in sun so thr sun exposure, clorine in the water and the antifungal drugs my be causing this thats our guess (though the dr. didnt confirm this ) he said that the patches are showing vitiligous symtoms so we shoud start treating them as vitiligo. What ever it may be I just want her to get rid of it as early as possible as she is entering into her teenage now and she has very high ambitions as far as her swimming is concerned.

    Hi,

I am currently in Bangalore and the name of the Dr. is Dr. Sudhakar Shetty. The thing I like about him is he made us very comfortale rather than using fear psycosis and told us that he will treat the visible patches for now and there is no need to think about the future patches that my or may not develop. He gave her an oientment called Topgraft ( Tacrolimus Oinment 0.1%) to apply twice and one more oinment called Melgain to apply in the night along with the Excimer phototherapy once in a week. And touchwood she has shown good results. If you are in bangalore I would suggest yo to go to him. So take care .
