Thanks for all that appreciation to my post and that goes to show we all are beautiful and wonderful indeed.

Ann: I have browsed thru the posts on this site and it seems a lot of people, esp the ones with indian origin have liked the max factor pan stick for makeup, I do not know about India but I am sure it would be available in UK, you may browse their site for the products as well as places to buy/order from. I personally used to buy something similar to dermablend which goes by the name ‘derma color’ (if I am not wrong since I left it long back:) ) It is easily available in delhi at the Bharati Taneja’s ‘Alps’ beauty salons chain which is widespread in delhi. So happy makup’ing !!!

I can see similar positive traits in you ! way to go gal !!! by the way are you from delhi? I can tell you from where to get makeup easily in case u have have decided to use it. And I know it is difficult some days, and a lot depends on you complexion color too, darker the complexion darker the concerns.

My suggestion is that if you have not started using makeup, despite vit on your face , then do not start now either, believe me , u will be much better off emotionally as well as personally.

Please do not call yourself a victim, develop your skills and abilities in other areas, and do not pay much attention to how you look, and you will see a positive change, from victim to victory !!! people see what we want them to see, excuber your charm,goodness and grace and you will see that vitiligo is the last thing anybody pays attention to, on the flip side I feel the greatest admirers of vitiligo are we vitts.

Please take good care of yourself and your self esteem.

I may not be able to get on board on orkut, as it is a restricted site from where I browse. I hope I will find more people on board at this location itsel. It would be great if we can have an active delhi chapter.

About depig, well its is heartening to see the response and peace of mind for so many people opting for it. I personally do not plan to go for it and am waiting for nature to take its course since at the moment I am OK with flaunting my vitiligo And I feel that I need the protection of whatever melanocytes are left under my skin, though I am almost 65% vit. since the sunburn in India is bad and it is my concern too, no sunblock helps. In fact when I was in USA, it was worse since sun is very harsh there too, my problem aggrevated during my stay there. Let me know if anybody has an effective remedy for it.
