hi,
welcome to the website sorry to hear that ur daughter has been diagnosed with vitiligo… i know the feeling .. i too have a daughter , who has vitiligo. If u have not read the FAQ u must to get information, especally about the treatment options. ITs trial and error.. ther eis no one treatment tailormade to suit all… one has to find out thru use…. protopic and elidel are the popular and easier treatment options.
Sorry to say (i don`t want u to feel hopeless…)but nobody i know on this website has benefited from homeopathy. I have heard of cases where some have benefitted when they started right at the onset…. each one of us is different !
You have to be strong and bring ur daughter up so that she does not feel she is different. Kids at that age are not bothered about their patches so don`t make a big deal about it in front of her…. she will be fine. I have a 11 yr old daughter who has extensive vitiligo since the age of 6…but she is confident, happy go lucky and not bothered about her spots….You should stop worrying and be more postive and determined to fight it.
all the best,
vandanaYou are so right Gina… when u see the suffering of the people there.. its heart wrenching….and makes u glad to be alive !
Asha, thnx for the concern… i have been wondering about u and ur son ?? hope his lips are ok.. last time i remb how worried u were.I know sometimes u go off for a while.. hope things are fine with u
