Well thats great to know! I wouldnt really know cos’ ive never met another asian with vit before! ….I hope this doesnt sound bad…but sometimes when i think about marriage and stuff…..i think what if i didnt have vit, would i marry someone who did have it??…..i don’t know..
[/QUOTED]
ohhh yesss, seen a lot of ppl, who had vit from childhood have married. Whenever i am in India.. out shopping etc.. always see at elast 3-4 ppl with vitiligo. Lot of young kids are getting it too… guess its spreading like wildfire i feel.
I do wonder… too.. a person who marries a person with vit must be a great one.. to look beyond skin beauty…which i think is rather difficult initially in a marriage setup.Such people should be commended for being so generous as to look beyond vit to the personality of a person…i think it wld require a lot of guts too.[QUOTED]
My parents don’t know that i visit this site, im not really sure they’d understand if i told them…..
[/QUOTED]
Neesha, I am sure they will understand…maybe they will also realise that u are concerned about the vit urself..and its not only them. I am sure they will be proud of u for educating urself….[QUOTED]
lot of people here say that the face is one of the easiest/fastest places to repigment, but not for me.

Have u ever turned pink on ur vit spots with UVB ?? That is the pointer that the treatment is working… if u hv not its not worth pursuing UVB….. maybe UVB is not for u. Swinzle never responded to UVB treatment at all. I don`t know if u have tried steroid creams. For Swinzle, as soon as i see a spot coming up on her face .. i apply steroid cream twice.. and it always repigments… so that way her face is saved… in a month or so the spot is gone. I know how UVB darkens the skin so much I am sure something will work for u.. its a matter of trial and error. Not tried protopic /elidel ? I thinks thats easy to purchase there.. tho i bet it must be costing a bomb !love,

Neesha thnx for your wishes Once in a while i let her/ make her read some messages on this site. She is not interested at all … .. she thinks I sit here too long as such and thats a pain , coz she cannot play computer games then…lol. Sometimes i think reading too much here can also be depressing for a vitiligo person. But then the site is very informative with ppl sharing their experiences and ideas. hey Neesha.. have u tried putting olive oil and then taking UVB ? As u may have read a lot of ppl are seeing their spots turn pink after applying olive oil. I think u must give it a try. byeeeee

think in some ways, my parents (especially my mum) are more affected by my vitiligo than i am! …At the beginning, i was really depressed and hated my vitiligo. ..Now, still hate it and can’t really accept it but ive learnt to live with it.
[/QUOTED]
Lol.. moms… are the worriers of the family… ! Very well said Neesha…. thats how most people feel abt vit… difficult to accept…… but hv to learn to live with it. Also as u said… parents worry abt their kids getting marriage partners.. but i hv seen so many of the vit ppl i know…..are married and happily so. -
