Bejoy… so its totally elimintaing dairy, caffeine, sugar , yeast foods and fats. I have always wondered if a person can get enough protein by eliminating dairy from the diet. Protein only from legumes…. should suffice, i suppose. One comes across these sanyasis who eat only fruits and live .. but then they have the spirituality thingy which gives them some inner power.

some of the spices we take… turmeric and garam masala.. and ginger, garlic are all supposed to be benefical. I think we overcook our food also till all vitamins are destroyed.
Is the cooking in your house in UK..typically Indian most of the time ?

No bejoy… nobody either side has vitiligo in our family at least in the last three geneartions, we can trace.
I was talking in general when i mentioned hereditary link…. people who have vitiligo are usually carriers.. and so can pass it on.. and so vitiligo runs in Indians. I think there is some gene in us…. in our chromosome makeup which is inclined towards vitiligo…. and so we are more disposed towards it.Bejoy,
That seems like a simple diet.. so no cooked sabjis and no dairy also is it ?

Hi Asha, yeah ACV has to be organic.// undistilled. I myself have started taking ACV since last 2 days as i was having some gastric problems…. and believe me it has made a difference ! The problem is to get it down ! lol. For my daughter, swinzle.. my hubby is thinking of making it in capsule form as tablets n capsules are not available here.
Dr. Monte`s Book.. i read it in one sitting.. ! really convincing about vitamins… but i feel adding them to my daughter`s diet since past 2years has not made any apparent difference..,, to her vitiligo. As always.. .. everybody is not the same. You must log on to your VSI account to access this page.
