          Rasmi,

NB UVB units are available in India – Delhi and Chennai I know for sure. You can find out from the Daavlin Distributor in India ( Chennai ) if they have sold any units to B`bay hospitals.

          Hope that is of help,

          Vandana

No, this is not available in India. We need to import it from US or UK and its expensive equipment.
None of the clinics have these nb uvb cabins in India.

                  Hi madhu,

I have heard uvb nb machines are there in Indian hospitals as well but they are not being used for treatment for vitiligo, only for psorasis. A doctor himself from delhi told me this. He works at safdarjung hospital in delhi where they have one. I think AIIMS also has a unit.
Where are u located Madhu ?? I am an Indian , living in Malaysia. My daughter has vitiligo. Even I was not familiar with this term coz leucoderma term is limited to India.

                                hi there,

UVB NB is available in Malaysia, i think it should be available in Singapore too. Try the davalin distributor for your area , maybe they know which hopsital has bought one. Infact, a dermatologist told me u get camoflague creams from singapore. Its some place called madison avenue or something… if i remember right.
